Wedding Photography at West Tower

Cat and Andy booked me to shoot their West Tower wedding photography after I shot Cat’s brother’s wedding last year. After seeing Gary and Rachel’s photos, Cat got in touch to ask me to shoot their wedding photography at West Tower. West Tower was a new wedding venue for me and it’s an absolute cracker. West Tower is an exclusive use venue with fantastic grounds perfect for wedding photography with a brilliant team there who run the day perfectly.

B2b Productions

Working alongside me was Dave from B2b Productions shooting Cat and Andy’s wedding film. Dave was an absolute please work alongside. As a veteran of over 350 weddings, Dave is a bit of a wedding film expert and you wouldn’t know he was around as he is so discreet. Dave was also great company and we had a good laugh working together throughout the day.

Stunning Summer Sun

Cat and Andy were both getting ready at West Tower so I was able to hop between rooms to capture the preparation for both. All the guests had arrived at church and as Cat set off, the wedding car broke down! However, all was not lost as the best man hot footed it from the church back to West Tower to save the day. The guests didn’t mind the slight delay and it wasn’t long before Cat was walking up the aisle to marry Andy. Once married everyone made their way to West Tower to enjoy canapes and drinks in the stunning summer sun. It was an absolutely beautiful summer’s day and the guests made the most of the gardens for the reception.

Natural Couple Photos

Once the speeches and cake cutting was complete the sunset was absolutely amazing so Dave and myself made the most of the beautiful light to capture some natural couple photos in the gardens of West Tower. I really enjoyed shooting with the amazing sunlight and I captured some of my favourite images of the year.
