Rushton Hall Wedding Photography // Alex and Josh
Rushton Hall Wedding Photography
I love shooting at new venues and I love it even more when it’s a beautiful venue. Rushton Hall is just that. Having traveled the night before it meant I was nice and fresh the following day to shoot Alex and Josh’s Rushton Hall wedding photography. Rushton Hall is a Grade I listed building in Kettering and it is a spectacular venue. I was really looking forward to shooting my first wedding there and it certainly lived up to my expectations.
Emotional Wedding Service
Alex and Josh love Rushton Hall and it’s their ‘go to’ hotel when they want to escape London. So naturally it was the obvious place for their wedding. Both Alex and Josh were getting ready together along with their families so preparation was great fun. An emotional wedding service followed before the guests greeted the new couple with huge hugs and smiles. It was a beautiful summers day so the reception was held in the court yard as Alex, Josh and their guests enjoyed the glorious summer sun.
Beautiful Light
The wedding breakfast preceded the speeches. Alex, Josh, their best men, parents and friends all gave fantastic speeches, causing plenty of laughter and quite a few tears. With low sun setting behind Rushton Hall, Alex and Josh headed out for their couple photos in the grounds. I love shooting into low sun, it creates beautiful light and the images always look fantastic. The first dance was held in the cellar bar below Rushton Hall (yep, I bounced my head on the low ceiling more than once) but it was worth it to shoot Alex and Josh’s first dance before their evening reception started. I loved shooting Alex and Josh’s Rushton Hall wedding photography and it’s a venue I thoroughly enjoyed shooting at. So there’s Alex and Josh’s wedding day. Let me know what you think below.
