Wedding at Eaves Hall

Roisin and Giorgio booked me to shoot their wedding at one of my very favourite wedding venues, Eaves Hall. I always love shooting weddings at Eaves Hall, it’s a venue that has so much to offer for photography. A beautifully designed interior, stunning rooms, huge gardens and of course the Hall itself. Eaves Hall was my most popular wedding venue in 2017 and Roisin and Giorgio’s wedding was another cracking wedding day. It was also a international affair with Roisin hailing from America and Giorgio being Italian. With a mix of Italians, Americans and Brits, I was very much looking forward to the day.

Marriage Service

Roisin got ready in the bridal suite with her bridesmaids. Roisin’s dad arrived to see his daughter in her wedding dress which was an wonderful, emotional moment. With nerves setting in, dad quickly knocked back a pint of Peroni (nicely staying on the Italian theme) before walking his daughter up the aisle at Eaves Hall. Roisin and Giorgio’s service was full of laughter as they both enjoyed every minute of exchanging their vows. The smiles continued as the guests showered them in confetti in front of Eaves Hall before the reception kicked on a lovely summers day in the Ribble Valley.

International Speeches

Twenty minutes of couple photos preceeded the speeches. Roisin’s dad kicked off in his proper Mancunian accent before handing over to the Italian’s Giorgio and his best man brother. The speeches were all very funny, which considering that Italian is Giorgio and his brothers first language, was fantastic. Once the wedding breakfast had been served the guests enjoyed the evening reception and Roisin and Giorgio’s first dance. It was a brilliant wedding and one that partied late into the night (I am led to believe).  As always, it was a pleasure to work alongside the team at Eaves Hall.
