Styal Lodge Wedding Photography

Sarah and Tom’s held their wedding day at Styal Lodge in the heart of Cheshire. Styal Lodge is a bespoke, exclusive use wedding venue in the heart of Styal village, family run, it’s a fantastic venue for a wedding celebration. This was my second time as a Styal lodge wedding photographer, I had previously shot Gemma and Ant’s wedding in 2017 which you can see more of here. Sarah and Tom were recommended by Tom’s brother and best man Sam, an old workmate of mine. The only problem I had was telling Sam and Tom apart, it’s safe to say they share more than a passing resemblance!

Wedding Preparations

Sarah had her wedding preparations at Styal Lodge and it was great to finally work alongside Adam Wing Films. I know Adam well so it was good to finally work alongside him. Sarah and her bridesmaids were certainly up for it and the preparations were lively to say the least. Once ready, Sarah made her way up the aisle for an emotional and laughter filled service. Confetti followed and as it was a lovely summers day, drinks and canapes were held outdoors at Styal Lodge in the wonderful gardens.

The Lake at Styal Lodge

Styal Lodge is famous for it’s lake so we made the most of this for the couple photos. The Lake is one of the main reasons couples book Styal Lodge for their wedding so we had to feature it in the photos. It was then back for the wedding breakfast and speeches before we headed into the evening where the Funtime Frankies were again on hand to provide the wedding party music (I’d only worked with the Funtime Frankies the day before at Helen and Dean’s wedding at Victoria Warehouse). These guys are guaranteed to get the party going! It was a fantastic day shooting Sarah and Tom’s Styal Lodge wedding photography, I can’t wait to return to Styal Lodge later in 2020!
