Boutique Wedding at King Street Townhouse

Jen and Kieron’s wedding gave me the chance to shoot my first boutique wedding at King Street Townhouse. King Street Townhouse is a stunning boutique hotel in the heart of the city centre and a fabulous venue for a wedding. Part of the Eclectic Hotels group (which also features Great John Street Hotel), King Street Townhouse is a fantastic addition to the city centre. Set on the 6th floor, the reception room has stunning views over the city and Manchester Town Hall. As with all of Eclectic Hotel’s venues, the staff are fantastic and having samples the food during Jen and Kieron’s wedding, I can heartily recommend King Street Townhouse for your wedding.

Views of Manchester City Centre

Jen got ready at her parents house before heading, literally, around the corner to her local church. Once the service was over Jen and Kieron were showered in confetti before jumping into her fathers hand built wedding car which took them into the city centre. Arriving at King Street Townhouse the guests enjoyed drinks and canapes on the terrace with the amazing views over the city and the Town Hall and Beetham Tower. After the wedding breakfast the speeches were terrific and heartfelt with laughter and tears in equal measure.

Couple Photos in the City

Once the speeches were complete Jen and Kieron ventured out into the city for their city centre wedding photos. Starting on King Street itself before heading into the alleyways and ending up in front of Manchester Town Hall. The locals displayed their wit and warmth as Kieron and Jen wandered the streets and I captured some lovely images of them within Manchester city centre. As we returned to King Street Townhouse, the staff had done a remarkable of job or getting the room ready for the evening reception and Jen and Kieron kicked off the night’s celebration with their first dance.

I really enjoyed my first boutique wedding at King Street Townhouse and I’m looking forward to returning in a few weeks! So here’s Jen and Kieron’s day…
