Emily and Mike’s Merrydale Manor Wedding Photography

Having filmed at Merrydale Manor (see my film here), I was very much looking forward to shooting Emily and Mike’s Merrydale Manor wedding photography. Merrydale Manor is the sister venue to Colshaw Hall and it is located close by in Over Peover in Cheshire. Merrydale Manor is a family run venue ideal for a couple looking for touch of opulence and luxury on their wedding day. Both Emily and Mike had their preparations at Merrydale Manor before their service in the stables. It was great to see wedding pianist Benjamin Clarke again as he played through the service and the wedding breakfast. It was also a pleasure to work alongside Stefan from YSD Media. Stefan was filming the wedding and I know him well as I photographed his own wedding at Abbeywood Estate.

Sunset Wedding Photos

Once Emily and Mike had exchanged their vows it was outside for the confetti. There were plenty of hugs and happiness as the guests congratulated Emily and Mike before they enjoyed their drinks reception. Just twenty minutes of couple photos was enough to make the most of the Manor house exterior and lake brefore the wedding breakfast and speeches. With the sun setting, we headed back outside to make the most of the summer sun. The photos in the sunset were beautiful. The first dance started Emily and Mike’s evening reception and the dancing went on long into the night.

The grounds of Merrydale Manor are beautiful and it’s a spectaculer setting. With catering by Barretts Event Caterers, you are guaranteed world class food at your wedding. This was the case at Emily and Mike’s wedding as we were lucky enough to sample the wedding breakfast. It was fantastic. Merrydale Manor is a beautiful wedding venue in Over Peover and I am very much looking forward to returning soon.
