Meols Hall Wedding Photography
One of the venues I always look forward to shooting at is Meols Hall in Churchtown, Southport. Meols Hall is a beautiful wedding venue packed with fantastic photo opportunities and amazing light. Located close to Southport, the Hall is residence to the owners of the estate. weddings are held in the Tithe Barn and stables, set close to the Hall. Unrestricted access to the land surrounding Meols Hall means that there is a huge variety of backdrops, rustic buildings, manicured lawns, bluebell fields, the Hall itself and of course, plenty of trees. This is why I love shooting Meols Hall wedding photography, there is always something new and unique to photograph at every wedding.
Clara and Moe’s Wedding
It was a pleasure to work alongside Tom Harrington Films again at Clara and Moe’s wedding. Tom is one of the leading wedding film makers in the country and a thoroughly great guy to work alongside. If you’d like to see the last wedding Tom and I shot together here’s a link to Laura and Ed’s Peckforton Castle wedding photography. Tom and I started the day in Southport at a B&B where both Clara and Moe were, separately, getting ready. It was a short, but wet, journey for Moe and his groomsmen as they had a horse and cart ride though the rain to Meols Hall. Clara was a little drier in a VW camper van before they married in the stunning Tithe Barn at Meols Hall.
Father and Son Song
The drinks reception in the stables was followed by the wedding breakfast and speeches. Moe is a very accomplished musician and for his speech he’d written a song for Clara. Adding to the moment, Moe performed the song (which was equally heartfelt and funny) with his father. It was a wonderful moment and both Moe and his father received a well deserved standing ovation. Clara and Moe then joined Tom and I as we headed out into the grounds of Meols Hall for their couple photos. With the rain finally relenting, we made the most of the beautiful setting and shot some lovely couple images all over the estate. With Adam Carr on the decks, the party started quickly with some brilliant Egyptian dancing before the first dance.
Clara and Moe’s friends and family ensured they partied the night away and had a wedding day to remember. I really enjoyed shooting Clara and Moe’s Meols Hall wedding photography. Please get in touch if you are looking for a wedding film or photos for your Meols Hall wedding.
