Manchester Hall Wedding Photography

Shooting somewhere new is always exciting. I was really looking forward to Rhian and Matt’s Manchester Hall wedding photography. Manchester Hall is located in the heart of Manchester city centre. It was built in 1929 and was the former Freemasons Hall before being renovated and re-opening for weddings at the end of 2017. Manchester Hall is a spectacular venue for a wedding. The decor, styling and lighting is beautiful. It’s a venue that will blow you away. It was a pleasure to photograph my first wedding at Manchester Hall and to work alongiside their brilliant events team. If you are looking for a classic, beautiful city centre wedding, Manchester Hall should be at the top of your list.

Rebecca Anderton Make Up Artist

Rhian’s bridal preparation was at the nearby Lowry Hotel. Rebecca Anderton was on hair and make up duty and as always, it was a pleasure to work with Rebecca. Rebecca is one of the most popular make up artists in the north west and I highly recommend Rebecca to all my clients as her work is top class. It had only been a couple of months since we last worked together for Vicky and Mark’s wedding at The Oak Tree of Peover. If you are on the lookout for a top class hair and make up artist then drop Rebecca an email, but be quick, she books up fast! Bridal preparation was very relaxed with Rhian and her bridesmaids. There was laughter and maybe a tear or two when Rhian read Matt’s wedding day card before we all made the short journey over to Manchester Hall.

Wedding Day at Manchester Hall

Rhian and Matt’s wedding service took place at Manchester Hall. It’s a beautiful room filled with gorgeous natural light. The guests enjoyed reception canapes and drinks as Rhian and Matt spent 10 minutes out on the streets of Manchester. With relaxed, informal couple photos shot, we headed back for the wedding breakfast. The food at Manchester Hall is wonderful as I was treated to three courses. Once the night had closed in I made the most of the dark evening and grabbed a couple of extra couple photos on the stunning stairwell inside Manchester Hall. We then stepped outside to grab a slow exposure shot using a couple of buses to create a dramatic nighttime wedding photo. Rhian and Matt then held their first dance in the ballroom before partying long into the night.

I thoroughly enjoyed shooting Rhian and Matt’s Manchester Hall wedding photography. Manchester Hall has quickly become one of my favourite city centre venues and I cannot wait to return soon. So here’s Rhian and Matt’s slideshow and photos, as always, let me know what you think on the comments below…
