Having thoroughly enjoyed my first time shooting Vicky and Mark’s Oak Tree of Peover wedding photography last year, it was fantastic to be heading back for Saba and Ally’s wedding day. The Oak Tree of Peover is a real gem of a wedding venue. Set within a former golf course, the venue is wonderfully charming, with gorgeous outodoor space and spectacular sunsets if you’re wedding day falls on a sunny day. Saba and Ally got the sunset, but more on that later.

New Service Room

Saba got ready in the bridal suite with her bridesmaids. It was great to catch up with one of Saba’s bridesmaids Leanne who I have to thank for recommending me to Saba. Once Saba was in her stunning dress she made her way to the new service room at The Oak Tree of Peover. The new service room has been added this year and it is beautiful. Built to match the existing venue, it’s full of stunning natural light and perfect for a wedding where you’re inside but it feels like you’re sat in the gardens.

Stunning Sunset

It was a good thing we were inside for the wedding as the rain lashed down during the service, but as soon as the first kiss happened the rain stopped and the sun started to break through. Confetti and reception drinks took place in the gardens before the wedding breakfast.  The sun made a proper apperance into the evening and Saba and Ally enjoyed a short walk into the sunset where we created some beautiful couple portraits. It was a pleasure to be back at the Oak Tree of Peover and I loved shooting Saba and Ally’s Oak Tree of Peover wedding photography and I’m looking forward to heading back soon.
