Emma and Tim’s wedding was my third time shooting Victoria Baths wedding photography at one of the best venues in Manchester. Emma and Tim found me after seeing Laura and Nathan’s wedding at Victoria Baths and with their wedding being themed around the movies, I couldn’t wait to shoot Emma and Tim’s wedding.

I met up with Emma at the MacDonald Hotel in the city centre whilst Dan Lloyd, who was on second shooting duties, tackled the crowds at Old Trafford to meet up with the guys who were getting ready at Hotel Football (Tim is a HUGE Manchester United fan). In fact the lads even popped into Old Trafford for a pre-wedding (alcoholic) shot before heading off to Victoria Baths. The booze was flowing in equal measure with the ladies with plenty of bottles of champagne being popped whilst the ladies got ready.

I arrived ahead of Emma and her dad and met up with Martin, who looks after Victoria Baths.. The service was in the main pool and I’ll say it once again, Manchester registrars are the best in the business, with a hilarious and fact filled service with one of the best registrars I have had the pleasure of working alongside! After the service Dan and I got in amongst the guests enjoying the canapés and drinks before Emma and Tim spent 20 minutes with me getting some cool couple photos.

After the speeches (including a surprise Facetime call with Emma’s friends in America), we had a good old nosey around Victoria Baths looking for something new to shoot and found a corridor we probably shouldn’t have gone into(but we did anyway) and we got some awesome couple photos underneath the baths before we made our way back to ground level for the first dance.
