I had been looking forward to shooting Anna and Ben’s Thornton Manor wedding photography at one of the finest wedding venues in the north west. Thornton Manor is a beautiful, luxury wedding venue on the Wirral. Built in the late 1800’s, Thornton Manor is an exclusive wedding venue, perfect for a couple that wants to celebrate their wedding day in stylish luxury. There are four different options for your wedding at Thornton Manor with Anna and Ben opting to have their service and reception in the Manor House. It’s a stunning wedding venue that exudes class.

Anna and Ben’s Wedding Day

Anna had her preparations inside the Manor House with her bridesmaids and family whilst Ben was in the bar meeting and greeting their guests. Once Anna slipped into the dress and her Jimmy Choo’s, she made her way through the Manor House to the ceremony room. Their service was wonderful and heartfelt before they walked out into the spring sunshine and the confetti shower, courtesy of their guests. The reception was held in the gardens in the beautiful sunshine. Thornton Manor has so many great areas for couple photos, from the stunning gardens to the dramatically lit hallways and rooms inside the house. Anna and Ben made the most of all of the options as we shot their couple photography inside and outside the house.

Dramatic Wedding Photos

Anna and Ben’s wedding breakfast preceded the speeches and as the night guests arrived there was time for some dramatic wedding photos outside Thornton Manor before the band and first dance started the evening reception. Anna and Ben had a wonderful, personal wedding day and it was a pleasure to photograph at Thornton Manor. The Thornton Manor team were a pleasure to work with and I must extend my thanks to MH Catering for their delicious food too!
