The Holford Estate Wedding Photography

I was very much looking forward to photographing Michelle and Sam’s The Holford Estate wedding photography. The Holford Estate is one of the very best wedding venues in Cheshire, it is a luxurious and exclusive venue perfect for a couple who want to relax and enjoy a full weekend of celebrations. The Holford Estate is an exclusive use venue which is hired for the full weekend, so it is a wonderful way to make the most of your wedding with the day. The service rooms is set within a beautifully renovated barn featuring wonderful light. There are stunning gardens, the grade II listed home, farm building and many, many more fantastic backdrops for photos and wedding films at The Holford Estate. Add to this a wonderful team (thanks to Hannah for being so welcoming and helpful), it’s easy to see why The Holford Estate has quickly established itself as one of the very best wedding venues in the country.

Wedding Service In The Barn

Michelle got ready at The Mill at The Holford Estate whilst Sam was close by with his friends. I had the assistance of the super talented Steven Rooney to help shoot Michelle and Sam’s wedding day, with Steve starting with Sam and the groomsmen. Their wedding service was held within the barn and it was wonderful to hear the service and readings in both French and English as many of Sam’s family had flown in from France for the service. Following the service, confetti and drinks were flowing in the gardens and whilst we had to keep a close eye on the weather, the rain held off until the wedding breakfast so Steve and I could shoot the couple photos within the gardens.

French and English Speeches

Michelle and Sam’s speeches started and ended the wedding breakfast with the guests entertained in English and French, before Sam’s family from France held some French wedding games. With a live band and sax player on hand to start the evening reception, Michelle and Sam held their first dance within the barn and their wedding partied long into the night.
