Nunsmere Hall Wedding Photography

Back in May I got so shoot my first ever Nunsmere Hall wedding for Vicky and Tom. Nunsmere Hall in Northwich, Cheshire is a stunning wedding venue and I was really looking forward to shooting there. I arrived early for the bridal preparations where I met Jon Bird who was on film duties for the day. Jon Bird is an award winning wedding film maker and it was a real pleasure to work with Jon for Vicky and Tom’s wedding (you can see Jon’s film here!). Vicky’s proud father led her down stairs to the service room and Tom.  As Vicky arrived at the top of the aisle, Tom struggled to hold the tears back. I love moments like this, you can’t beat the moment when the groom’s emotion gets the better of him.

Singing Waiters

Vicky and Tom joined myself and Jon for some couple photos in the grounds whilst their guests enjoyed the wedding reception. The wedding breakfast followed and in a wedding of firsts for me, Vicky’s mum had booked surprise singing waiters. The singing waiters would appear after Vicky’s father had finished his own emotional (and very funny) wedding speech. The singing waiters were from Divas Disguised and they took everyone by surprise by bursting into a full operatic number. Within minutes they had every guest up on their feet swinging their napkins and swaying to the music. It was a brilliant experience for me as much as the guests (even if Jon and I missed out on our dinner to grab the shots). Once Divas Disguised had finished their brilliant routine, Tom and his best men completed the emotional and heartfelt speeches.

Magician Sam Fitton

Before the evening reception Vicky and Tom had booked Magician Sam Fitton to entertain their guests.  I’ve worked with Sam before and he is fantastic, you can see the wedding we did at Manchester Town Hall here. As always Sam was on top form and had the guests in fits of laughter and amazement with his fast paced jokes and outstanding magic tricks. Every time I started to shoot Sam he seemed to produce fire and it creates some cracking photos, although one of the guests below looked decidedly un-phased by it all!

The Rush

To complete a fantastic day of Nunsmere Hall wedding photography,  Vicky and Tom had The RUSH perform their first dance. Gav and the boys were on outstanding form. With the first dance featuring a terrific confetti explosion (which I helped choreograph) I managed to grab some great photos. With The RUSH on hand the party was bouncing late into the night. I loved shooting Vicky and Tom’s Nunsmere Hall wedding. It was hard to keep the number of pictures down for the blog as so much went on all day, so there’s a few more than normal in here.
