Wedding at Eaves Hall

Leah and Ryan had their wedding at Eaves Hall back in August. It was my third visit to Eaves Hall in 2016 and I love shooting weddings there. My first wedding was Cara and Mike’s wedding at the end of 2015 and I quickly fell in love with Eaves Hall as a wedding venue. It was the same for Leah and Ryan who also fell in love with Eaves Hall and decided it was the perfect venue for their wedding service and reception. Leah was getting ready in the bridal suite in the main hall. I started the day shooting the morning preparations with Leah and her team of bridesmaid.

Leah and Ryan’s wedding at Eaves Hall saw me working alongside James Wray Wedding Cinematography again, only a week after shooting with James at Jen and Lewis’ wedding at The Etrop Grange. As I’ve previously said, I’m a huge fan of James’ work, he shoots weddings in a very discreet manner and his wedding films are truly stunning. I also have a big thanks to give to James and it was his recommendation that helped Ryan and Leah decide to book me for their wedding at Eaves Hall. I can’t recommend James highly enough and just to prove how good he is, here is the trailor for Ryan and Leah’s wedding….

Unscripted, Real Emotion

Once Leah was ready and her father had seen her in the dress for the first time we made our way to the wedding service room. Ryan was waiting, looking very dapper in his suit from Whitfield and Ward and it was here I took one of my favourite wedding photos as Ryan saw Leah in the mirror and he wiped a tear from his eye as she walked up the aisle. This for me is the type of wedding photograph that I absolutely love. Completely unscripted, real emotion. Once married, Ryan and Leah headed outside to celebrate with their friends and family before a 20 minute walk around the gardens of Eaves Hall for the couple photos alongside James Wray. With the speeches and wedding breakfast complete and the cake cut, it was time for the first dance and the end of my day shooting Leah and Ryan’s wedding at Eaves Hall.

Ribble Valley Wedding Photographer // Anna May and David at Eaves Hall

Anna May and David had their Ribble Valley wedding at Eaves Hall, one of the finest wedding venues in the area. I met up with Anna May at her home, a beautiful converted barn, for the morning preparation. Anna May knows the wedding world very well herself as she is a wedding make up artist. Once her make up was ready and Anna May was in her dress I set off over to Eaves Hall to catch up with David and his team.

Eaves Hall is stunning venue and I love photographing weddings there like Cara and Mike’s Eaves Hall wedding photography which I shot in October 2015. Anna May and David’s wedding featured an outdoor service which was a first for me at Eaves Hall. The weather played its part as it was a beautiful summers day and the marriage service was fantastic.

After the wedding service and confetti had been thrown, the guests enjoyed the glorious grounds of Eaves Hall. If you are looking for a Ribble Valley wedding venue that really does have it all then you must check out Eaves Hall. It’s a beautiful building with modern decor, stunning gardens and a fantastic team. It really is one of my favourite wedding venues and it never fails to produce brilliant weddings.

Anna May and David spent twenty minutes in the gardens for their couple photos before the speeches and wedding breakfast. It wasn’t long before it was time for Anna May and David’s first dance. It was a fantastic day as a Ribble Valley wedding photographer and as always, I cannot wait to return to Eaves Hall.

Wedding Photography at Eaves Hall

I was delighted that Cara and Mike booked me to shoot their Eaves Hall wedding photography. I’d been right to be excited about Eaves Hall wedding photography as it’s absolutely beautiful. The decor is modern and very contemporary however most of all, Eaves Hall maintains a traditional, classic feel, perfect for modern wedding photography.

Cara, her sister and mum were getting ready inside the stunning bridal suite in Eaves Hall. There were plenty of laughs and more than one bottle of fizz being popped open before Cara’s dad arrived to see his daughter in her wedding dress for the first time. I love the photo of Cara being walked up the aisle by her proud dad, both of them with huge beaming smiles as Pianist Wayne Gorner (who is Cara’s piano teacher) performed one of my favourite piano pieces, Il Giorni.

Emotional Wedding Speeches

The marriage service was wonderful with plenty of laughter, hugs and the occasional tear. After the marriage service, Cara and Mike enjoyed twenty minutes of natural, relaxed wedding photos in Eaves Hall’s stunning grounds as the autumnal colours added something extra to the couple photos. The wedding breakfast followed and featured some emotional wedding speeches with quite a few of the guests reaching for their hankies.
