Old Grammar School Middleton Wedding Photography // Nadine and Rob
Wedding at Old Grammar School
Nadine and Rob booked me to shoot their Old Grammar School Middleton wedding photography for their wedding day in October. I met up with Nadine at her home in Stalyebridge for the morning preparations where she was getting ready along with her two sisters who were also her bridesmaids. I loved Nadine and Rob’s invites which were Penguin book covers which tied in brilliantly with their reception venue being a former Grammar School. The church service was at St John The Divine in Sale, a church that was very special for Nadine as it was the same church her parents got married at. Nadine was proudly walked up the aisle by her father for the marriage service in the beautiful church.
With the rain joining us for the wedding, I quickly shot the confetti photo before a handful of formals inside church. Nadine and Rob enjoyed a glass of champagne in the back of their wedding car as they made the journey to their reception at The Old Grammar School in Middleton.
Live Lounge Duo
Old Grammar School Middleton wedding photography is great fun as the Grammar School is a really quirky wedding venue with exposed stone walls and a high ceiling, which makes the venue feel much larger than it is. The guests were enjoying themselves as the large hog roast was being cooked in the corner as I nipped outside for 15 minutes of relaxed photos with Nadine and Rob around the Old Grammar School. After the speeches I got to catch up with the very talented Live Lounge Duo who were performing for the night reception. I have worked with the chaps a couple of times before including Kate and Chris’ brilliant wedding at The Palace Hotel in Manchester in 2014 and I can highly recommend them for your wedding. Danny and Gary are brilliant at getting the dance floor bouncing!
I really enjoyed shooting Nadine and Rob’s Old Grammar School Middleton wedding photography. Here’s their day, music by Of Monsters and Men, photos by me….
