The Gilpin Lake House is set in the Lake District, a few miles from the shore of Lake Windermere. What a stunning wedding venue The Gilpin Lake House is. A beautifully styled house set alongside Knipe Tarn, this is one of the jewels in the Lake District crown. To add to the day, the weather was at its very best too, perfect for Amy and Mike’s wedding.

Stunning Surroundings

The preparations and wedding service took place at The Gilpin Lake House. Once married, Amy and Mike led the guests down into the garden for drinks and canapes. The group photos were quickly completed and the guests enjoyed the sun and champagne in the stunning surroundings of The Gilpin Lake House. The wedding breakfast and speeches took place in a marquee. Everything about the Gilpin is superb.

Beautiful Sunset

The forecast was for a beautiful sunset and the weather did not disappoint. Amy and Mike’s couple photos took place in the golden hour with some amazing light. There were so many beautiful options for photos on the lawn, in the gardens and on the jetty into the Lake.
