Colshaw Hall is one of Cheshire’s most luxurious andt in demand wedding venues in the country. Colshaw Hall is a family owned private wedding venue in the heart of Over Peover in Cheshire. Formerly a family home for the Irlam family, Colshaw Hall was converted into a wedding venue in 2012 and has since become one of the U.K.’s most sought after wedding venues.
I have been fortunate to shoot over 40 weddings at Colshaw Hall as both a photographer and videographer since 2014 and I love retuning every year back regularly to cover weddings. Colshaw Hall is the perfect venue to create a unique and personal wedding. Located in Peover near Knutsford and set in its own 300 acre estate, it is a real ‘wow’ venue. The fantastic team at Colshaw Hall will help you create your dream wedding. With a purpose built ceremony room, the stunning Peel Suite and Pavilion along with the stunning house available for your wedding day, you can celebrate your marriage in the sumptuous luxury of one of Cheshire’s most exclusive venues.
A Luxury Wedding Venue
Colshaw Hall is a Grade II listed building which was a private home until the Irlam family turned it into an exclusive use wedding venue. Since then it has hosted some of the most exclusive weddings in the country including a number of high profile celebrities. Featuring a Japanese style garden, manicured lawns surrounding a private lake alongside the purpose built Ceremony Stables, which have recently had huge glass windows installed allowing more natural light into the ceremony room and showcasing a uniquely designed water feature, Colshaw Hall has everything.
No two weddings are the same at Colshaw Hall. You can get ready in the new renovated Lodge at the entrance to the estate then move over to the make up room inside the main Hall itself. The Den is purposefully designed for the gentleman to get ready with a bar, fussball table and table tennis.
Once ready you can get married in the Stables or outdoors in the beautiful gardens before your have your reception within the Pavilion or inside the beautiful walled garden, featuring the new outdoor bar before moving the celebration into of the breathtaking Peel Suite for the wedding breakfast and evening reception. The Ceremony Stables
The Ceremony Stables are purpose built and can accommodate up to 180 guests. Marble flooring throughout the Stables compliments the beautiful exposed oaks beams. The Stables have recently been improved with the addition of huge windows that flood the front of the stables with beautiful natural light, revealing a stunning waterfall outside.
The Walled Garden
Should you wish to marry outdoors, Colshaw Hall has two licenced gardens. You can get married in the Magnolia Garden or the Walled Garden with both areas suitable for up to 180 guests.
The Walled Garden is the perfect area for your outdoor drinks reception and it now has its own outdoor bar, so your guests can remain outdoors when the weather permits. The Walled Garden is the perfect place for formal and documetary photography.
Should the weather not be on your side you can celebrate in style at Colshaw Hall’s stylish bar, the Pavilion. You’ll be treated to wonderful canapés, drinks and service throughout your day by the exclusive catering team.
The Grounds
Colshaw Hall is set in 300 acres of stunning landscape, with the driveway leading up to the Hall one of the highlights of arriving at the venue. The manicured lawns in front of the house are perfect for couple photos along with the private lake and bridge creating more opportunities for wonderful couple photos.
The Peel Suite
The Peel Suite is where you will dine and celebrate in style at Colshaw Hall. With capacity for 180 guests, the Peel Suite is the perfect space for your wedding breakfast and evening reception. The Peel Suite is simply stunning with spectacular chandeliers dominating the room. With floor to ceiling windows on either side of the Peel Suite your wedding breakfast will be bathed in beautiful natural light. Of course, The Peel Suite is air conditioned to ensure your guests are comfortable no matter what the weather and it features a state of the art PA system so you can create the perfect ambiance for your day. The evening reception within the Peel Suite will really get your wedding party started. With space for live bands, DJ’s and dancing, you’re guaranteed to have a simply amazing evening reception.
