Wedding Photography at The Chester Grosvenor

Tony and Lesley had their wedding photography at The Chester Grosvenor at one of the cities leading wedding venues. Boasting a Michelin starred restaurant and a superb city centre location, The Chester Grosvenor is a quality venue if you’re after a fine dining wedding surrounded by style and elegance. All of that pretty much sums up Lesley and Tony’s Chester Grosvenor wedding photography and not only was the venue stunning, we had some sun too! Lesley was getting ready at The Chester Grosvenor and I started the day with the bridal preparation. I also managed to pop in on Tony who was also getting ready in the hotel. Once Lesley had her wedding dress on it was time for the marriage service.

The service room had wonderful diffused light, perfect for wedding photography. I was shooting the service alongside Bruce Marshall of LoveTwoFilm and we were treated to a wonderful service full of laughter and huge smiles. After the I do’s were exchanged and Lesley and Tony shared their first kiss as a married couple we headed out into Chester city centre for some natural wedding photos.

Michelin Starred Restaurant

Lesley and Tony rejoined their wedding guests inside the Chester Grosvenor for the wedding reception where the champagne was flowing. Lesley and Tony were very excited about their wedding breakfast as the hotel has a Michelin starred restaurant thanks to head chef Simon Radley. The Chester Grosvenor has had the Michelin star since 1990 and it was a major reason why Lesley and Tony chose the Chester Grosvenor for their wedding and reception. The food looked amazing and I was assured it tasted even better than it looked by all the wedding guests.

Tony kicked off the wedding speeches and surprised Lesley not once, but twice, with a video message from her brother in America and a brand new private number plate to show off Lesley’s new surname. With a beautiful sunset over the city centre, Lesley and Tony joined me for a few extra shots high up with views of Chester and beyond. I loved my first ever day shooting  Chester Grosvenor wedding photography at a venue filled with class and style.
