The Ashton Memorial Wedding Photography

Tori and Ant booked me to shoot their Ashton Memorial wedding photography at one of the most unique venues I have ever shot a wedding at. The Ashton Memorial is in Lancaster and was commissioned by James Williamson, Lord Ashton, as a tribute to his late wife. This beautiful building has been associated with love and romance ever since so it’s the perfect setting for a wedding.  With stunning marble floors, sweeping staircases and amazing views across Morecambe Bay towards the Lake District, the Memorial has plenty to offer. With Tori and Ant hailing from The Lake District, Ashton Memorial has the perfect backdrop with views of the lower lakes too!

Confetti Shower

Tori got ready in nearby Lancaster before arriving at Ashton Memorial in a vintage car with her father. Tori was proudly walked up the aisle by her father for the marriage service inside Ashton Memorial. It really is a stunning setting and completely unique to any other venue I have ever photographed a wedding within before. Once Tori and Ant had said their ‘I do’s’ and the register was signed they walked out of Ashton Memorial into a confetti shower before making the short walk to the cafe for tea and scones.

Williamson Park

With The Ashton Memorial being set inside Williamson Park, Tori and Ant made the most of their setting with couples photos all around the park before we finished off with a few photos outside Ashton Memorial. Tori and Ant had their wedding reception inside Ashton Memorial and after the wedding breakfast, speeches and a few more couple photos in the dark, it was time for the first dance and the evening reception where the guests were entertained by Tori’s talented brothers on acoustic guitar.
