Ashfield House is a beautiful boutique wedding venue in Standish. Family owned and run, Ashfield House is a wonderfully welcoming venue with it’s own personality and style. Ashfield House is a brilliant wedding venue for a number of reasons, starting with a dedicated wedding service hall, a large bar area and a wonderful wedding breakfast room which is bathed in beautiful natural light. Outside, the gardens are huge and the perfect backdrop to an outdoor drinks reception. What makes Ashfield House really stand out are the brilliant staff. Every time I have worked at Ashfield House, there has been a warm welcome from the team on the day. They go above and beyond for their couples and nothing is too much trouble. Wedding Day at Ashfield House

Carmel and Mike held their entire day at Ashfield House. The preparations led into the wedding service, which started with an emotional Mike but quickly turned into a fun filled service. Once the ‘I do’s’ we exchanged, Carmel and Mike were greeted with confetti as they walked out of Ashfield House for their drinks reception in the sun. With a handful of formal photos shot, the guests were greeted before the wedding breakfast. With beautiful low sun setting over Ashfield House, Carmel and Mike joined me in the gardens during the golden hour for their portraits. The beautiful light created some amazing photos. DFC were on hand to get the party started and the dancefloor was soon bouncing as Carmel and Mike partied long into the night.
