I couldn’t wait for Vicky and Mark’s Oak Tree of Peover wedding photography as it’s always a pleasure to shoot at a venue I have never worked at before. Vicky got ready in the bridal suite at The Oak Tree of Peover and it was great to see Rebecca Anderton on hair and make-up duties. Bridal preparation was very relaxed and enjoyable, in large thanks to the fantastic 80’s soundtrack Vicky had put together for the day. Who doesn’t love hearing Alone by Heart as the bride gets fitted into her wedding dress?

The Word Is Love

The service room looked amazing at The Oak Tree of Peover and featured light up letters from The Word is Love which really added to the room. It’s a beautiful venue and it’s easy to see why Vicky and Mark fell in love with it as soon as they viewed it.  Mark was relaxed as he waited for Vicky’s arrival at the aisle. Thanks to the lovely ladies from Cheshire West registration services who let me have free rein during Vicky and Mark’s wedding service.

Outdoor Garden Games

The fantastic weather continued again for Vicky and Mark’s wedding day so the reception was outside the Oak Tree of Peover in the beautiful landscape surrounding the venue. Outdoor gardens games such as tin-can alley and giant jenga entertained the guests along with a brilliant performance from Keegan Snaize, a guitar playing duo from York who Vicky and Mark had seen performing in a bar and had asked to play at their wedding. Their cover of Starman by Bowie was superb and had the guests singing along before the wedding breakfast.

Brilliant Speeches

The speeches started with Vicky’s three bridesmaids all doing their own short speeches about the bride and the ladies had the room in stitches with their fantastic stories and poems. The two best men gave Mark a bit of a ribbing, much to the amusement of every guest before everyone returned outside to enjoy the early evening. With the sun lowering I made the most of the evening light for Vicky and Mark’s couple photos and before we knew it, it was time for the cake cutting and the first dance.

I loved shooting Vicky and Mark’s Oak Tree of Peover wedding photography and I’m looking forward to heading back soon. So here’s their day, as always, comment are welcome below…
